The Arzúa Monobloc Cross-Arm Awning is a retractable-arm solution specifically designed for installations that require a large projection within a limited frontage. Its cross-arm system makes the most of the available space, combining a classic design with high performance and a wide range of installation and operating options.
The Arzúa "Cross-Arm Monobloc" awning by Toldos Gómez is designed for installations where the available frontage limits the projection (extension) that a conventional awning could otherwise achieve.
Its key feature is the "Cross-Arm Monobloc" system, built onto a self-supporting square bar. A specialized component positions one of the arms 8 cm lower than the other, allowing the arms to cross during operation; this enables a greater projection from a narrower installation width.
This model supports configurations starting from a 1.22 m frontage with a projection of up to 3.50 m (using two arms), making it an excellent choice when a large area of ​​sun protection is required but installation space is limited.
It can be mounted on a wall (front-mounted) or a ceiling, and can be operated either manually or via a motor. Furthermore, it accommodates various optional accessories—such as a protective hood, a "Sombrex" (drop-down valance), and automated control systems—allowing it to be tailored to the specific requirements of any installation.
Regarding its finish, the unit features a lacquer coating that meets QUALICOAT standards, stainless steel hardware, and fully lacquered arms. The awning is classified according to the UNE-EN 13561:2015 standard, with a wind resistance rating of Class C.1 (up to 28 km/h) and a durability rating of Class C.3 (guaranteed for a minimum of 10,000 operating cycles).
To customize the sun protection, it can be paired with a variety of fabrics, including Sauleda’s Masacril (solution-dyed acrylic), resin-coated acrylic, Soltis 96 (micro-perforated fabric), and "Green" fabric.
